The Academy program is run under the direction of Director of Coaching Jose Fleita. This program started in 2007 for U7 and U8 players has proven to be the key to successful early skill development. All staff assigned to coach are licensed professional trainers.  The goal of the Academy is to help teach young players the basic skills of soccer in an environment that is conducive to learning. 

Players chosen for the Academy are placed in age and developmentally appropriate pools, rather than assigned to a specific team. As a group, they receive professional training with an emphasis on technical skill development. They are also given the opportunity to play against one another in game-type situations. This allows for greater development without the pressure that comes with a need to win.
