The U16 Girls Elite team dominated their games at the Nike Cup Classic this past weekend in Schaumburg. They were able to shut out Sockers 5-0, and Michigan Hawks 4-0 in their first two games.  In their second two games against Joshn Gasper and Waukesha SC, they allowed only one goal per game.

In the last seven games this team has scored 28 goals, scoring 17 of these in tournament play.  This is a great achievement and a testament to their teamwork on offense and attacking intelligence. The final game of the Nike Cup Classic capped off a great weekend for the girls with two outstanding goals scored by Halley Havlicek. All the girls can be congratulated on an excellent weekend and a thoroughly deserved tournament victory.
