Ela Soccer Club

Prior to any player participating in Ela Soccer Club, parents are required to read and sign the Parent – Ela Soccer Club Agreement. This agreement sets out expectations relative to behaviour, sportsmanship and conduct as a member of the Ela Soccer Club organization.

Our parents are expected to:

• Honor all financial commitments.
• Remain with Ela Soccer Club and not transfer to another club during the current unless extenuating circumstances exist. (ex: relocation out of the Chicagoland area)
• Pay all remaining fees for the full annual program before a release is approved if including any financial assistance benefits.
• Not take any Ela Soccer Club player to any other coaching training session or play for any other soccer organization without written permission or approval from the Director of Soccer.
• Provide transportation to and from all practices, games, and tournaments, ensuring the player is prompt in not only arriving but also leaving.
• Lend the player support in a positive manner, not pointing out their mistakes, leaving that to their coaches.
• Ensure that the player brings equipment to and from all soccer activities and wear them properly.
• Avoid criticizing the players, teammates, coach, or organization in public.
• Ensure that players of Ela Soccer Club refrain from using foul language, alcohol, drugs or nicotine.
• Treat all players, opponents, parents, officials, and coaches with courtesy, respect, and good sportsmanship.
• Encourage players U13 and above, not the parents, to be responsible for addressing any problem with a teammate, coach or club official by communicating directly to those individuals.
• Not bring disagreements with the coach, officials, and opponents into a public place. Questions, input, and positive suggestions will be voiced directly to the coach and/or club official in an adult atmosphere – making sure the youth player or players are not present at any time during these conversations.
• Represent Ela Soccer Club with values, principles, and ethics of the highest standards both on and off the field and my sideline behavior will be of my highest standards with no verbal or physical abuse towards anyone.
