Ela Elite Under 13 Boys and Under 17 Boys to compete in State Championship Semi Finals
The Ela Soccer Club's Under 13 Boys Ela Elite and Under 17 Boys Ela Elite teams will compete this Saturday in the Illinois Youth Soccer State Cup Semi Finals in Rockford. The Illinois Youth Soccer State Cup is the State Championship for youth soccer in the State of Illinois.
"This is an incredible accomplishment for these boys and all of their dedication and hard work is clearly evident," said Gin Sharma, Ela Soccer's Director of Coaching. "To be one of the four best teams in the State of Illinois in these respective age divisions says a lot about the Ela Soccer program, our coaches, parents and players," continued Sharma.
The Under 13 Boys team will take on Spartans FC from Northbrook at 10:00am and the Under 17 Boys team will take on Galaxy SC from Naperville at 2:00pm. Both games will be played at Sportscore 1
Winners will compete in the State Championship game on Sunday.
The Illinois State Cup Champions advance to the US Youth Soccer Midwest Regional Championships and then onto the US Youth Soccer National Championships.
